President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev pays visit

According to the Kazakhstan Republic President’s press-service, Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with activity of Kazakhstan- Turksih joint venture producing electron-optical devices and also viewed production buildings. The Head of the State highlighted the importance of creating such highly-technological plants in Kazakhstan. Besides, during the visit, akim of Astana I. Tasmagambetov reported on interim performance of Industrial park – special economic zone – “Astana – new city”, where the plant operates. In general, there are 49 projects claimed to operate on the territory of the enterprise with overall investments value of 181 bln. kzt - 11 projects of them are successfully functioning, 8 are in the process of putting into operation, the rest 30 are under implementation. Joint venture producing electron-optical devices «Kazakhstan aselsan engineering» LLC was created in 2011, according to agreement between Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Turkish leadership. “Concern “Nayza-kurylys” was presented as a main contractor of the project.
